Fall So Far: Music Edition
It’s been a minute since I’ve talked about music on this blog, but Spotify wrapped season is lurking in the shadows so I figure there’s no time like the present. I’m going to focus on these first two weeks of November and what’s been on repeat for me. Below are my top songs this month and my top artists according to Spotify. (Taylor Swift, consider this a personal note inquiring why I was not considered for the Eras Tour presale when my dedication is close to criminal). I have to give an honorable mention to Jensen McRae who I just discovered this past week. If you’re a fan of Maggie Rogers and Phoebe Bridgers please please please do yourself a favor and listen to this angel on earth. Her range is absolutely unreal, and her lyricism blows my mind. Especially as a Black girl, her songs, Headlock Pt.1 (Mother), Headlock Pt.2 (Father), White Boy, and Headlock Pt.3 (Daughter), hit home. Go check her out and thank me later.
